The Problem

Visa were hoping to increase expenditure across their network of debit and credit cards in the Middle East, looking for the best ways to give back to their customers. They wanted Back9’s help to forge relationships with our network of golf courses to help facilitate discounts for their card holders, with the goal of gaining more spend traction across golf courses in the UAE.

Back9’s Solution

Back9 negotiated preferred rates for specified Visa card holders which can be availed via the app. By implementing smart BIN number recognition, our technology automatically attaches the user’s privileges to their qualifying card. Card holders are then able to book at the participating golf courses across the UAE and select clubs abroad.

Our technology facilitates all programme rules and pricing, meaning there is no manual administration for Visa or their customer.

Since its the Visa priviledge implementation, they have observed a higher volume of transaction at higher values accross our golf facilities. Customers have provided positive feedback on our digital booking service.
